September 24, Entry 8

Shaggy (from scooby doo) and Superman enter an elevater one day. Shaggy walks over to one side of the elevater and Superman walks to the other side. Suddenly Shaggy turns around and faces the corner. Superman looks very confused and turns around and starts facing the corner as well. Shaggy turns back around and presses the fire alarm button. Superman starts to freak out and starts flying all over the elevator.
Superman finally calms down and Shaggy and Superman are now stopped on the elevator. Superman bends down to tie his shoe. Shaggy bends down to tie his shoe. Superman stands. Shaggy stands. Superman scratches his arm. Shaggy scratches his arm. Superman takes a step forward. Shaggy takes a step forward. Superman slides to the left. Shaggy slides to the left. Superman slides to the right. Shaggy slides to the right. Superman flies up to the top of the elevator. Shaggy is dissapointed.
Detectives are no match for a super hero.

September 17, Entry 6

I leave off my story with me going back to the school after leaving the news reporters. I go back to the school and almost everyones left. My sister just got back and she had no idea what was going on so she was kind of scared. My sister and I decided to go back home and relax a little while. We had to take a long way around because any other way we could possibly go was flooded over. We get home and I get changed and watch a little T.V. then my sister gets a call saying any football and volleyball players willing to come help clean up could come. So me and my sister went back in and started to help. I worked on the new art teachers room which was completely soaked. We had to take everything out so that way they could put down new tile. When I walked on the floor in there is actually made a spuishing noise. I thought this was kind of neat. I looked down to the little kids hallway and there was still puddles. After we cleared out her room we went to the bandroom. It was equally soaked. We started to take stuff out. I heard that while this was flooded there was water coming from the gym and the water was actually hitting the band room door. It thought that was interesting. Ill finish it off next time.

September 15, Entry 5

Headline: Army Tough Guy Trampled by Deer
Yesterday, September 16, a man by the name of Mr. _____, was trampled by a deer.
This may not seem like a very interesting topic. But think about how this happened. This man is not any ordinary man.
He is currently deployed in Iowa. He currently has no job due to the low crime rate in the city of Guacopatamia. So this man was
training in a forest.
This man is about 4'11", very buff, and very mean looking. He has a mustache, long black hair, and can scare any man off
the planet.
So "Why?" may you ask he got trampled by a deer? This deer stands about 3 feet tall, and is a bambi. But something that we
have assumed happened and that Mr. _____ is saying the reason for this is that the bambi was blind and deaf.
Scientists are calling her Deer Hellen.

This one stunk. lol But oh well.

September 11, Entry 4

I am going to take a quick break from my flood journal entries to talk about the day. September 11 is a very big day in America. Does everybody remember what happened on September 11? September 11, 2001 was the day that sadaam hussane (Or whatever :) took (I do believe) 3 airplanes into the twin towers. I vagely remember that day because I was only a first grader and I dont even remember really what I was thinking or what happened or anything. I am kinda mad. It is cool and sad to look back on. I dont even remember hearing about it till I got to my neighbors house (we used to go there everyday after school) and they were watching T.V. about what was going on. I didnt think anything of it cause it didnt phase me. I did purchase this book a long time ago and it showed tons of headlines from the next day that was in the newspaper. The pictures and the headlines really made you sad. I also remember watching a show about a plane that actually never did hit the twin tower and about what happened. It just crashed in a feild. That was pretty moving to think what the people on the plane were thinking while there plane was highjacked. Even though it didnt effect me personally, it did effect a Lot of people. I hope September 11, 2001 is remembered for a long time.

September 9, Entry 3

My story leaves off and im waiting for the tractor to come. We are hanging out and waiting. Then it comes and we start loading sandbags into the tractor. It gets loaded and we all run back through the forest. Through the creek. Over the railroad tracks. And back on the road. The trucks already left so we all ran around town. We pretty much scattered and I ended up only being with 4 people out of the about 20 I came with. I now need to remind you that my shoes and socks are in the truck that left so I ran all the way across town barefoot. It was really hard to run that far and my feet were killing me. I got to this area were it was prolly a few inches deep and there was this girl taking pictures of us that was on dryer land. We walked over there and they asked for our names and we talked to them for a while. We finally left them and went back to the school. We all went back home because the water had receeded and we were no longer needed. So now I went home and then my sister got a call that all football and volleyball players can come in and help clean out the classrooms that were flooded. By the way, I was not in the paper with my picture. But remember me saying I talked to them for a while. Well they quoted me. I told them that "It was the best 2nd day of school ever." That I was proud of. In my next blog entry I will explain the damage and what we did at the school.

September 3, Entry 2

My story last left off with me getting changed into my gym stuff so that I wasn’t in my good school clothes. I went and got in a truck. There were two trucks by the way. Each with about 10 people with both. It was a lot of people and not really legal. :) We went the side of a road in town. Because of the roads all being flooded we had to take a scenic route through some forest. We first went through some trees and grass and some very sharp thorns. Then went over the railroad tracks, which I might say is not very pleasant being in bare feet. Then went down again into some more woods and went through a creek. It went up to about my belly button. We came out the other side to a place that I didnt even know existed. Its been still light sprinkling this whole time by the way. And this place that I just arrived at is a work place that has sand and rock etc. We waited there a while thinking that we would have to fill our own sandbags but found out there was already some put away so we didnt have to worry. We waited about 20 minutes for a tractor to come. Ill more then likely explain the rest in my next blog entry.

September 2, Entry 1

I was sitting in my 7th period class and looking outside thinking that it was just raining. I didnt think anything of it except that it had been raining all day. Then Vanessa came into class and told all of us that we need to go out into the parking lot because the parking lot is in almost a foot of water. So I quickly ran outside, took off my shoes and socks, rolled up my jean pant leg and ran down and moved my car. I moved it to a non flooded spot and was told to get into Brads car because he wanted to go see his house. So I got in. May I remind you that this is still in school. I thought I was going to get in trouble so I was a little nervous. We got there and it was pretty flooded so I went back to the school and got changed and went on a journey through town that was pretty crazy. Ill explain it on my next journal entry. :)
